Mark Bekker: ProZorro helps Kharkiv region save more than Hr 250 mln

KHARKIV – The ProZorro system has helped Kharkiv region in 2016 to save Hr 257 million through the electronic purchase of goods, Kharkiv region First Deputy Head Mark Bekker has said.

“Since the start of the ProZorro project in Kharkiv region 17,111 purchases for a total of Hr 12.573 billion. More than Hr 257.3 million, or 5% of money spent, was saved as a result,” said the press service of Kharkiv Regional Administration.

According to Bekker, 2.7 offers were submitted for each contract on average. The largest amount of savings came from purchases in the sphere of construction and building materials – Hr 65 million, followed by hotel and restaurant services – Hr 25 million and transportation equipment – around Hr 14 million.
