A meeting of the tender commission to select an independent member of the supervisory board of Naftogaz Ukrainy, scheduled for Sept. 20, did not take place due to a lack of quorum, supervisory board member Andriy Boitsun has said.

“The meeting of the nomination committee, scheduled for today, has been postponed due to a lack of quorum,” he said at a meeting of the committee on economic policy.

As reported, the tender commission in September selected five candidates for this post: ex-Finance Minister, ex-head of the Morgan Stanley representative office in Ukraine, head of the National Depositary of Ukraine Ihor Mitiukov, Director General of Microsoft Ukraine Nadia Vasilyeva, ex-director of the consolidated sales and asset management department of the Individuals’ Deposit Guarantee Fund Yulia Bereschenko, partner of Ernst&Young Dmytro Lytvak; and ex-chairman of the Slovak GTS operator Gaz-System S.A. Jan Chadam.
