You're reading: More than 80 percent of Ukrainians planning to vote in Rada elections

More than half of Ukrainians (51.3 percent) are confident that they will take part in voting at the snap elections to the Verkhovna Rada, according to the results of a survey conducted by the Democratic Initiatives Foundation together with the Razumkov Centre of sociological service.

At the same time, 30.1 percent of respondents also said that they would most likely take part in the voting.

Some 9.9 percent of respondents found it difficult to answer the question, because they have not decided yet.

At the same time, 8.2 percent said that they would definitely or most likely not vote. Some 0.5 percent of respondents did not answer the question.

The nationwide survey was conducted from June 13 to June 20, 2019 in all regions of Ukraine, except for the temporarily occupied territories. Some 2,017 respondents were interviewed. The theoretical sampling error does not exceed 2.3 percent.
