More than 80,000 foreign students from 158 countries studying in Ukraine

More than 80,000 foreign students from 158 countries of the world studied in Ukraine as of early 2020, according to the Ministry of Education and Science.

“Now the Ministry of Education and Science is developing an Action Plan to promote opportunities for higher education in Ukraine for foreign students. The main goal is to increase the attractiveness of national education, introduce a transparent mechanism for recruiting foreign students for higher education, and ensure the quality of educational services provided by universities,” the press service of the ministry quoted acting Minister of Education Serhiy Shkarlet as saying.
