The Moscow City Court has rejected appeals against a lower court’s ruling extending the terms of arrest of the Ukrainian sailors detained following an incident in the Kerch Strait area in November 2018 until July 24 and July 26, 2019.
“The appeal rulings by the Moscow City Court of May 20, 22, and 27 and rulings by Moscow’s Lefortovsky District Court, which extended the defendants’ custody terms, have been left unchanged and the defense lawyers’ appeals declined,” the court’s press service told Interfax on Monday.
