PJSC Motor Sich (Zaporizhia) plans to complete certification of the new MSB-2 Nadiya light civil helicopter in 2018 with a flight range of 1,000 kilometers, a company official has told Interfax-Ukraine.
“In the first half of the year, we are planning to complete certification of the new MSB-2 Nadiya, which started last year,” he said.
According to him, the helicopter is to be certified, first and foremost, at the State Aviation Service of Ukraine.
The company official said that a prototype of MSB-2 Nadiya had already been assembled and tested. Serial production of the new aircraft, according to preliminary plans, can begin as early as 2018.
“The presentation of new helicopter equipment to potential customers has currently begun,” he said.
MSB-2 Nadiya is a civilian version of a light helicopter for seven passengers with a flight range of 1,000 kilometers.
