Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine deputy (unaligned) Nadia Savchenko has said she is ready to publicly take a lie detector test and answer questions posed by law-enforcement agencies. She also said she would testify about ‘the person’ who brought snipers into the Hotel Ukraina, saying she meant deputy Serhiy Pashynsky, who chairs the Rada’s National Security and Defense Committee.

“I offer prosecutors, Ukraine’s SBU Security Service and other agencies to question me publicly on a lie-detector test. Let the whole of Ukraine, the entire world, hear my answers to the questions, if they are not afraid,” Savchenko said in parliament on March 15.

Savchenko denied ties with Russian special services. She also apologized for earlier saying Rada Speaker Andriy Parubiy escorted snipers into the Hotel Ukraina during anti-government protests in Kyiv during February 2014. She said she meant Pashynsky.
