You're reading: NABU investigating 25 criminal proceedings following e-declarations analysis

Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has registered three criminal proceedings on the analysis of the information entered in the register of e-declarations, and thus, the total number of criminal proceedings being under investigation has reached 25 cases.

According to the press service of the NABU, all three new criminal proceedings apply to the servants of Themis. “Two of these proceedings were started upon entering false information (Article 366-1 Criminal Code of Ukraine), one of them – on the fact of illegal enrichment (Article 368-2 Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the Bureau said.

Thus, the NABU summed up, that as of Jan. 23, the total number of criminal proceedings which are being investigated by the Bureau detectives, according to the data specified in e-declarations, is 25.

“They relate to actions of 24 people: 14 judges, six people’s deputies of Ukraine, two chairmen of district state administrations, one deputy chairman of the regional council, one head of the central body of executive power,” the anti-corruption agency reported.
