You're reading: NABU launches first investigations after analyzing e-declarations

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has launched three investigations into the facts of unlawful enrichment after analyzing e-declarations. The declarations of two lawmakers and a judge are involved.

“On November 17 the NABU launched three investigations into the facts of unlawful enrichment (Part 2 and Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) after analyzing information in e-declarations. Two investigations are launched against Ukrainian lawmakers and one – against a representative of judicial power,” NABU said on November 18.

The pretrial investigation is underway. The investigators are addressing the details to establish all circumstances of the committed crimes.

The investigations were launched under applications of lawmakers and analytical checks conducted involving the NABU analytics and information processing department.
