The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) has approved and forwarded to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) its findings based on the results of a full audit of the updated declaration for 2015 filed by MP Vadym Rabinovich of the Opposition Block faction.

“We have established that the MP wrote in his declaration that he owns 50 percent of the corporate rights in the authorized capital of News Network LLC, whereas at the end of the reporting period he owned 100 percent of the company. The cost of the share of the authorized capital which he omitted to mention is Hr 600,000,” the NACP press service reported on Friday.

The National Agency has recalled that the punishment for declaring inaccurate information for more than 250 subsistence minimums for able-bodied people is envisaged in Article 366-1 (declaration of unreliable information) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The NACP pointed out that the approval of a well-grounded conclusion and sending it to an authorized entity in the field of combating corruption does not mean that the person was found guilty of committing an offense, but is the basis for a pre-trial investigation.
