Ukraine has started exporting gas in the direction of Hungary, Head of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy Andriy Kobolev said on his Facebook page.
The head of the company referred to the publication in the press, according to which a gas company that is part of Sergiy Tigipko’s TAS Group carried out the supply of 1 MWh of gas to Hungary.
As reported, at the end of January TAS Energy Ukraine (TAS Energy Country) as part of testing the readiness of the Ukrainian gas transportation system (GTS) and customs regimes for export operations carried out Ukraine’s first gas export to Europe in the direction of Slovakia. Metalex Limited acted as a buyer during test exports.
