Russia-led forces mounted 13 attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, in the past 24 hours; no Ukraine soldier was killed or wounded in action, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters said.

“On August 18, armed groups led by the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the ceasefire regime 13 times… There were no casualties among Ukrainian soldiers,” the JFO headquarters said on the Facebook social network on August 19 morning.

In the area of responsibility of the Vostok operational-tactical group, the enemy mounted 11 attacks at the positions of the Joint Forces: nearby Pyschevyk using small arms; twice near Vodiane using hand anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms; three times near Lebedynske using small arms; twice near Talakivka using small arms; twice nearby Pavlopil using automatic grenade launchers and small arms; near Pisky using hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers.

In the area of responsibility of the Sever operational-tactical group, the enemy mounted two shelling of the positions of the Joint Forces: in the area of Novoluhanske using IFV armament, heavy machine guns and small arms; nearby Luhansk using grenade launchers of various systems and heavy machine guns.

“From the beginning of this day, the enemy shelled the positions of the Joint Forces twice in the area of responsibility of the Vostok operational-tactical group: near Novotroitskeusing grenade launchers of various systems and small arms; in the Vodiane area using a hand anti-tank grenade launcher and small arms,” the JFO headquarters said.
