The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) has got no grounds to submit a repeated request to lift the immunity from MP Stanislav Berezkin of the People’s Will group since the Verkhovna Rada refused to do so, following the first request, the SAPO’s head Nazar Kholodnytsky has said.

“There will be no second request now because there are no new grounds at our disposal,” he told reporters on the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada on November 20 in response to a question whether the SAPO is going to submit a new request with regard to Berezkin.
