Russia-led forces have mounted nine attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, in the past day; no Ukraine army casualties have been reported, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters has said.

“On May 13, armed formations of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire nine times. Weapons proscribed under the Minsk agreements – 82mm mortars – were used in two instances. Russia-backed separatists also shelled our defenders, using grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms… There have been no Joint Forces losses,” the JFO HQ said on Facebook in a morning update on May 14.

The hot spots were the villages of Lebedynske, Bohdanivka, and Novotroyitske, and the towns of Avdiyivka and Maryinka.

The enemy also shelled the villages of Novotoshkivske, Luhanske, and Stanytsia Luhanska.

“Since the beginning of the day, there have been no enemy attacks,” the JFO HQ said.

According to Ukrainian intelligence reports, one separatist was killed, another two were wounded.
