You're reading: No Ukrainians among victims of terrorist attack in Bagdad

There were no Ukrainians among the dead and injured in the terrorist attacks that occurred in Baghdad on Jan.8, the consular service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has reported.

It was reported that at least seven people were killed and over ten injured as a result of the second terrorist attack per day in Baghdad.

According to them, a suicide bomber blew himself up at a market in the Shiite district of the Baladiyat area.

On Jan 8 12 people were killed and 50 injured in an explosion in eastern Baghdad at a vegetable market in the area, predominantly populated by Shiites. Islamic State (ISIS) took the responsibility for the terrorist attack.
