No Ukrainians killed, two injured in Genoa bridge collapse

There are no Ukrainians among those killed in the collapse of a motorway bridge in Genoa (Italy) on August 14, according to the Consular Service Department of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

“The prefecture of the city of Genoa reported that there are no Ukrainians among those killed in the collapse of the bridge,” the department reported on Twitter on August 15.

At the same time, the Foreign Ministry did not specify whether there are Ukrainians among those injured in the accident.

Ukraine’s Consulate General in Milan, in turn, reported that two Ukrainians had been injured and hospitalized.

“Two injured citizens of Ukraine are in the San Martin hospital, with which the consulate general maintains constant contact. The injured Ukrainians were not admitted to other hospitals, Galliera and Villa Scassi, for hospitalization,” the consulate said on Facebook.
