Since the beginning of the year, the mission has recorded 330 injured civilians, and a large portion of them were injured or killed by fragments of shells, Hug said at a press briefing in Odesa on July 25.

OSCE SMM monitors record hundreds and even thousands of ceasefire breaches daily, including with the use of weapons forbidden by the Minsk Agreements, he also said.

For instance, the mission recorded over 850 ceasefire breaches on July 23, Hug said.

Some 59 civilians have been killed and over 260 injured during the Donbas crisis since the start of 2017, Hug said at a press conference on July 21.
