You're reading: Occupation forces violate ceasefire in JFO area in Donbas 7 times, 1 wounded

Russia-led forces mounted seven attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, in the past 24 hours; with one Ukrainian soldier wounded in action, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters said.

“On August 21, illegal armed groups of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the ceasefire seven times … Over the past day, one of our soldiers was wounded in action,” the JFO headquarters said on its Facebook page said Thursday morning.

In the area of responsibility of the Vostok operational-tactical group, the enemy fired on positions of Ukrainian troops seven times.

“From the beginning of this day, two hostile attacks were recorded in the area of responsibility of the Vostok operational-tactical group near Vodiane. The enemy used an easel anti-tank grenade launcher. Near Novotroitske the enemy used an easel anti-tank grenade launcher and small arms,” the headquarters added.
