“In Odesa, law enforcers found and detained a Luhansk resident who, through a social network, agitated for ‘Russian world’ and advised to be subordinate to the Russian authorities,” the prosecutor general’s spokeswoman, Larysa Sarhan, wrote on Twitter on February 14.

“According to a preliminary investigation, a 27-year-old resident of Luhansk who lived in Odesa, using a pseudonym, distributed a number of publications on Facebook, calling for actions to change the borders of the territory and the state border of Ukraine in violation of the procedure established by the Constitution of Ukraine,” the press service of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported on February 14.

During the search of the suspect’s place of residence, law enforcement officers found and seized substances of vegetable origin, similar to drugs, and cartridges. The seized things are sent for examination. At the request of the regional prosecutor’s office, the person was taken into custody. The pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out by the SBU office in Odesa region.
