Odesa seaport in January-October handled 20.709 million tonnes of cargo, which is 19.4 percent more than in the same period in 2018.
According to the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority, for the specified period the port increased transshipment of exported cargo by 21.5 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, to 15.179 million tonnes, imported goods by 16.1 percent, to 4.285 million tonnes, cabotage goods by 2.8 times, to 201,560 tonnes. At the same time, transshipment of transit cargo decreased by 4.1 percent, to 1.042 million tonnes.
Transshipment of liquid cargo in Odesa seaport in January-October increased by 29.5 percent, to 1.512 million tonnes, dry cargo by 31.5 percent, to 8.751 million tonnes, packaged goods by 9.8 percent, to 10.445 million tonnes.
Transshipment of containers in Odesa seaport for the indicated period amounted to 531,187 TEU (an increase of 9.1 percent).
