The official opening ceremony for the 2017 Eurovision International Song Contest will be held in Kyiv, on Sunday, May 7.
“The time has come when you will learn all the secrets. Soon, on May 7, the contest opens,” creative supervisor of the contest in Serhiy Proskurnia said at a press conference in Kyiv on May 5.
According to him, the guests will be expected by hosts at three locations, in particular, in the arrival area, the area for communication with the press, and also in the fan zone.
The ceremony is scheduled to start at 17:00.
