Ukrainian members of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk on July 19 disputed the authenticity of documents from occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions (ORDLO), the take-over of Ukrainian enterprises, ensuring conditions for the work of the Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), release of hostages, demilitarization of Debaltseve and the investigation into the shooting down of the MH17 Malaysian passenger airliner in eastern Ukraine in July 2014.

Spokeswoman for ex Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, Ukraine’s second president who co-chairs the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG), expressed the hope that the investigation of the MH17 crash would soon end and those guilty of shooting it down punished.

According to Olifer, Ukraine received official confirmation about 70 of 132 Ukrainians being held in the occupied territories. Ukraine is insisting on their release.

“We are waiting confirmation about the identities of six more persons, including journalist Stanyslav Aseyev (Vasin),” Olifer said.
