A Ukrainian soldier was injured in fighting in eastern Ukraine on Nov. 15, the Ukrainian military said in a 6 p.m. update on Facebook.

“Four instances were recorded of the use of weaponry banned by the Minsk agreements. One JFO (Joint Forces Operation (JFO) ) serviceman sustained injuries during hostilities,” the statement said.

Overnight, 82mm and 120mm mortars were fired at the Ukrainian army positions near Shumy and Yuzhne, causing no casualties, but destroying two civilian houses in Yuzhne.

Near Volny, Russia-backed separatists twice fired grenades, large-caliber machineguns, combat vehicle BMP-1 armament, small arms and 82mm mortars. There were also attacks without heavy weaponry near the village of Stanytsia Luhanska, Malynove and Avdiyivka.
