Russia-backed separatists mounted seven attacks on Ukrainian positions in eastern Ukrainian region Donbas on Nov. 7, the Ukrainian army has reported.

“During the current day, the Russian occupying forces violated the ceasefire seven times. The enemy once used weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements. (…) One member of the Joint Forces has been wounded as a result of hostilities,” says an evening update posted on the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Facebook page on Nov. 7.

Separatists opened aimed fire from grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms. They used 82mm mortars, weapons of infantry fighting vehicles and a ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft gun near the village of Pavlopil. Ukrainian positions near the villages of Vilny, Zaitseve, Pisky, Hnutove, and the town of Krasnohorivka were also under fire, Ukrainian military reports.
