Russia-led forces mounted five attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, on May 17; one Ukrainian soldier was wounded in action, the press center of the Ukrainian military has said.
“Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has violated the ceasefire five times. Armed formations of the Russian Federation fired at our units’ positions from 122mm artillery systems, 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms,” the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters said on Facebook in an March 17 evening update.
