The party Opposition Platform – For Life and the party’s parliamentary faction is happy about the statement by Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on the dissolution of the current Verkhovna Rada.
“Today we are happy because there is an announcement on the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada because a parliament with the population’s trust level of 4 percent cannot make legislative acts, run the country,” deputy Yuriy Boiko, founder of the Opposition Platform – For Life, told reporters in the Verkhovna Rada on May 20.
The politician said his faction was ready for an early election two years ago when he believes the parliamentary coalition disintegrated.
