DONETSK – The situation in Luhansk is calm, the number of armed people has fallen, the Special Monitoring Mission of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE SMM) has said.
Observers saw unidentified people and military equipment in central Luhansk, SMM deputy head Alexander Hug said at a briefing on Friday.
Despite the presence of armed men, the situation in the town remained quiet, he said.
The SMM will continue monitoring Luhansk and other cities, Hug said.
