As of Monday, August 16, more than 90% of health workers and more than half of teachers have been vaccinated in the Kharkiv region, Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration Mykhailo Cherniak said.
“Today, more than 92% of medical workers are vaccinated in the region. This is very important for us. We are also continuing to vaccinate teachers, now in fact, 60% of teachers have already been vaccinated,” Kharkiv Regional State Administration press service quoted Cherniak as saying.
According to Kharkiv Regional Lab Center, as of August 16, some 458,648 vaccinations were given in the region, and 156,764 people were fully vaccinated (received two doses of the vaccine).
