You're reading: Parliament to consider bill on Donbas de-occupation on November 16

The Verkhovna Rada will consider a bill on state policy on securing state sovereignty over temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions (No. 7163) on Nov. 16, People’s Front faction deputy Andriy Teteruk has said.

He told journalists on the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada on Nov. 14 that the draft law would be considered at a meeting of the committee on national security and defense on Nov. 15 .

“We will consider all necessary amendments, prepare this bill for consideration in parliament, and on Thursday, tentatively in the afternoon, this bill will be put to the vote and adopted,” Teteruk said.

Earlier, the secretary of the committee on national security and defense, Bloc of Petro Poroshenko MP Ivan Vinnyk, said that committee members had agreed not to mention in the draft law on Donbas about the severance of diplomatic relations with Russia.
