The Verkhovna Rada has decided to additionally allocate Hr 1.4 billion in budget subsidies for state coal mines to repay delayed wages to coal miners.
Respective bill No. 8362 as a whole was backed by 261 parliamentarians at a meeting on Friday.
Initially, the authors of the document proposed to allocate Hr 2.8 billion in subsidies, but during re-consideration, the amount was reduced by half.
