You're reading: Participants of the Normandy Four agree on date of next summit

All participants of the Normandy Four agreed to schedule a summit for Dec. 9 in Paris, the press service of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reported on the results of a phone conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.

“The French President stressed that Ukraine had fulfilled all necessary conditions for the Normandy Format summit to take place. As a result, all parties agreed on the date of its holding – Dec. 9 in Paris,” reads the statement.

The leaders of Ukraine and France coordinated the preparation of the substantive content of the summit.

Zelensky informed the French President about the current security situation in Donbas.

Macron emphasized that Ukraine could further count on France’s support in all matters.

The parties also discussed economic cooperation between the two countries and agreed to continue the bilateral dialogue during the official visit of the French President to Ukraine.
