Parubiy invites Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to Ukraine

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy has invited the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to Ukraine.

“I invite the Ecumenical Patriarch to Ukraine,” Parubiy said at a meeting with exarchs of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Ukraine – Bishop Ilarion of Edmonton and the Western Eparchy of the UOC in Canada and Archbishop Daniel of Pamphylia and the Western Eparchy of the UOC in the United States of America in Kyiv on October 5.

The speaker of the parliament asked the exarchs to extend this invitation to the Ecumenical Patriarch.
