Archbishop of Chernihiv and Nizhynsky, deputy head of the Department for External Church Relations of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (OCU) Yevstratiy (Zoria) has said that the honorary patriarch of Kyiv and All Russia-Ukraine Filaret (Denysenko) filed a lawsuit against him in court on “protecting honor and dignity.”

“The office of the metropolis told me that a letter had arrived from the Shevchenkivsky court. Patriarch Filaret (Denysenko) is suing Archbishop Yevstratiy (Zoria) “to protect honor and dignity,” Archbishop Yevstratiy wrote on his Facebook page on August 22.

As is known, Archbishop Yevstratiy repeatedly criticized Filaret’s position, who rejected the self-liquidation of the UOC-KP in connection with the creation of a single OCU.
