The Pension Fund ended 2020 with a deficit of Hr 13.2 billion, while additional financing of the receipts from the state budget amounted to Hr 184.5 billion, which is 4.5% less than in 2019.

According to the data on the fund’s website, its own receipts in 2020 grew by 16.5%, to Hr 281.6 billion, which amounted to 60.4% of receipts. In general, receipts last year were 7% more than in 2019 and amounted to Hr 466.1 billion.

At the same time, receipts from the single social security contribution amounted to Hr 254.5 billion, which is Hr 19.7 billion less than planned, according to the fund’s statistics.

As indicated by the fund, its expenses in 2020 reached Hr 479.3 billion.

As reported, the Pension Fund ended 2019 with a deficit of Hr 1.1 billion: the Fund’s receipts amounted to Hr 434.8 billion (including Hr 193.1 billion from the national budget), expenses totaled Hr 435.9 billion.
