MOSCOW – Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov has declined to comment on the results of the Belgrade meeting between Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov and the United States Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations, Kurt Volker, but said that mass media reports on the proposals allegedly made by the United States at the meeting were wrong.

“I am not ready to provide information regarding this matter for now,” Peskov told the press. He was asked which three points of 29 allegedly proposed by the United States at the meeting were accepted by Russia.

He did not confirm that the United States had proposed that a 20,000-strong international peacekeeping contingent be deployed to Donbas.

“All those reports are wrong,” Peskov said.
