Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov has confirmed the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Medvedchuk, chairman of the political council of the Ukrainian party Opposition Platform – For Life.
“I was asked this morning whether Medvedchuk had visited recently. I checked this information. Yes, he has. He did indeed visit. He brought up the issue of the Ukrainian sailors’ release,” Peskov told reporters on Wednesday.
