You're reading: Peskov says Trump did not raise Crimean status issue in conversation with Putin

MOSCOW – U.S. President Donald Trump did not raise the issue of the status of Crimea during a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.

During his contact with reporters on Feb. 15, Peskov was asked a question regarding whether the U.S. president raised this issue.

“No, he didn’t,” Peskov said. He said that the Russian side had published all information it wanted to publish following this conversation.
