Ukrainian businessman Viсtor Pinchuk is summoned to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine (PGO) on August 27 for questioning as a witness in criminal proceedings regarding the Party of Regions’ “black ledger.”

According to the agenda posted on the website of the Prosecutor General’s Office, Pinchuk must come to the PGO special investigations department at 18 Borysohlibska Street in Kyiv at 11:00 on August 27, 2019 for investigative actions with his participation as a witness within the criminal proceedings of August 19, 2016.

According to a source at Interfax-Ukraine, Pinchuk’s call for interrogation is connected with the investigation into the case of the so-called “black ledger” of the Party of Regions.

In 2016, Head of the Specialized Anti-corruption Prosecutor’s Office Nazar Kholodnytsky said that about 100 people would be questioned within the case of the Party of Regions’ off-the book financial scheme.
