Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has discussed the continuation of fundamental reforms in Ukraine, which would ensure the stable development of the country.

The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has reported that Groysman met with founders and the Board of the Yalta European Strategy (YES). They met with the head of government in the framework of the preparation for the YES Annual Meeting scheduled for September.

“It is critical for us these days to pursue the gradual development of the country as well as the changes that already yield results. In recent years, despite all the challenges and threats, we have managed to lay the foundation of a new Ukraine, do the groundwork, and now we are building up a structure. Together we are building a new country,” the prime minister said.

In turn, Aleksander Kwasniewski, Chairman of the YES board, said that Ukraine truly demonstrates its commitment to democratic values as well as the course of significant transformations.

“We and our partners admit: the first round of presidential elections was held in a transparent and fair manner. No one can question the democratic nature of all the procedures. Similarly, we acknowledge your progress and that, in spite of the hard times and challenges, you are committed to the path of reforms and pursue these reforms… And today it’s clear that this advancement should prolong and it is critical to pursue the chosen path,” Kwasniewski said.
