The Polish government has decided to automatically extend the legal stay for Ukrainians who are in the country with biometric passports, which expired since Poland announced the state of the epidemic on March 14.

According to the Polish Analytical Center for International Employment Gremi Personal, on April 17, a new law came into force (Ustawa o szczególnych instrumentach wsparcia w związku z rozprzestrzenianiem się wirusa SARS-CoV-2), which allows foreigners to legally stay 30 days in Poland after expiration of epidemics without the need to apply for a temporary residence permit.
