The reports about laying mine at the Oleksandrivska Hospital have not been confirmed, the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv reported.

“Information about the mining of a medical facility has not been confirmed. During the inspection of the building and the surrounding area, explosive substances and objects have not been found. At the time of the survey, more than 100 people were evacuated, including patients and medical staff,” reads the statement posted on the official website of the National Police in Kyiv.

Information about the incident entered in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations as a crime under Part 1 of Article 259 (deliberately false report about a threat to the safety of citizens) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

“The article foresees punishment in the form of imprisonment from two to six years. Law enforcement efforts are aimed at identifying and detaining a pseudo-miner,” the police summed up.

As previously reported, at 21.40 p.m. on April 8, an unknown person called the police and said that explosives had been planted in one of the buildings of the hospital. Specialists of specialized services and the investigation and operational group of the district police department immediately went to the indicated address.
