You're reading: Poll says most Ukrainians trust Zelensky, Razumkov, Sentsov

Findings from a public opinion survey conducted by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation together with the Sociological Service of the Razumkov Center show that most Ukrainian citizens trust President Volodymyr Zelensky and Verkhovna Rada Speaker Dmytro Razumkov.

The poll’s results, which were presented in Kyiv on Dec. 26, show that 62% of Ukrainians trust Zelensky and 31% do not trust him (a trust-distrust balance of +31%).

Forty-eight percent of respondents trust Razumkov and 38% do not trust him (a trust-distrust balance of +10%).

Forty-one percent of respondents trust public figure Oleh Sentsov and 36% do not trust him (a +5% balance).

The worst trust-distrust balance belongs to former Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko (-66%), who is followed by Opposition Platform-For Life political council chairman Viktor Medvedchuk (-61%), Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko (-55%), Interior Minister Arsen Avakov (-54%), Batkivshchyna party leader Yulia Tymoshenko (-54%), leader of the Opposition Platform – For Life party Yuriy Boiko (-47%), and video blogger Anatoly Shariy (-41%).

They are followed by lawyer Andriy Portnov (-37%), Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Bohdan (-33%), head of the Servant of the People faction in parliament David Arakhamia (-33%), Holos party leader Sviatoslav Vakarchuk (-27%), and Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk (-16%).

The study was conducted between December 13 and December 18 in all regions of Ukraine. It surveyed 2,017 people aged 18 and older.
