About 43 percent of Ukrainians surveyed have noted deterioration in the quality of public medicine over the past two years, with 11 percent saying it has improved, according to a survey conducted by the Rating sociological group in November-December.
According to the study, 38 percent of respondents believe that nothing has changed in the level of quality of public health services, and 8 percent found it difficult to answer.
At the same time, sociologists note that the number of those who speak about deterioration in this sphere has decreased over the past year.
According to the poll, 54 percent of respondents know their family doctor or therapist, 45 percent do not know. The greatest awareness is observed among women and elder people.
A total of 1,200 respondents aged over 18 years were interviewed.
