You're reading: Poll: Zelensky trusted most of all among politicians by Ukrainians

The rating of trust in Ukrainian politicians is headed by President Volodymyr Zelensky, as shown by the results of a poll by the Rating sociological group.

According to data released on Nov. 19, 46 percent of respondents trust Zelensky, and 51 percent do not.

Some 32 percent of respondents express confidence in chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov, and 36 percent of respondents gave a negative answer, another 26 percent do not know him. Some 25 percent trust the leader of the Batkivschyna party Yulia Tymoshenko, and 72 percent do not.

Leader of the Opposition Platform – For Life party, Yuriy Boiko can count on the trust of 24 percent of the respondents, and 52 percent do not trust him.

Leader of the European Solidarity party, fifth president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko can count on the trust of 23 percent of respondents, and 74 percent do not trust him. Some 22 percent expressed confidence in Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, a negative response was given by 67 percent of the respondents.

Head of the Ukrainian government Denys Shmyhal is trusted by 18 percent, and not trusted by 54 percent, and almost a quarter have not heard of him. Some 19 percent expressed confidence in Health Minister Maksym Stepanov, and 36 percent did not (41 percent do not know him). Some 12 percent trust Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, and 43 percent do not (40 percent do not know him). Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova can count on the trust of 9 percent of respondents, and 38 percent do not trust her (almost 50% have not heard of her).

The poll was conducted from Nov. 15 to Nov. 17. The audience is the population of Ukraine aged 18 years and over in all regions, except for the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Donbas. The sample is representative in terms of age, sex, and type of settlement. The sample population is 3,000 respondents. The poll method is CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing) based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers. The representativeness error of the poll with a confidence level of 0.95 is no more than 1.8 percent.
