Defense Minister of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak has held a meeting with his American counterpart James Mattis and discussed with him interdepartmental cooperation.
“Today, during a meeting of the Alliance at the level of defense ministers, a meeting and a conversation with U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis has taken place. We exchanged views on the situation in Ukraine and in the world and discussed the prospects for cooperation between the defense departments of Ukraine and the United States,” Polorak wrote on his Facebook page on Thursday.
“In addition, I had the honor to invite my American colleague to visit Ukraine,” the defense minister said.
