There remain almost $5 billion worth of bank assets and around 100 coalmines in Russia-occupied Donbas, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said.

“Another figure that was not made public: in the occupied territory there remain bank assets worth $5 billion,” he said at a meeting with the region’s public officials in Lutsk, Volyn region, on Friday.

In addition, according to the head of state, there are about a hundred coalmines in the occupied territory.
