Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has arrived in New York (the United States) where he will take part in the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, the presidential press service has reported.
“The head of state will speak during the general debate at the UN General Assembly, take part in the UN peacekeeping summit, and hold a series of bilateral meetings with world leaders,” reads a report posted on the official website of the head of state on September 25.
“Special attention during the visit will be paid to deepening Ukrainian-U.S. relations in the trade, economic and investment spheres. To this end, the head of state will hold a meeting with U.S. business representatives,” the report said.
In New York, the Ukrainian president will also meet with the leaders of the Ukrainian community in the United States.
