President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has awarded President of Latvia Raimonds Vejonis with the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise of the first degree.
“Today I have had the great honor to present the state award of Ukraine – the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise of the first degree for the President’s enormous significant contribution to the development and strengthening of partnership friendly relations between Ukraine and Latvia. This award is a symbol of gratitude of the Ukrainian people. This is recognition of your personal contribution in support of Ukraine,” Poroshenko said at a joint briefing with President of Latvia Raimonds Vejonis in Kyiv on Nov. 24.
