Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko by his decree made changes in the lineup of the Council for the Protection of Professional Activities of Journalists and Freedom of Speech.

According to decree No. 421/2017 published on the website of the Ukrainian president, Poroshenko appointed Deputy Head of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police Ruslan Dudartsa, Deputy Head of the Department for Provision for the Activities of the Head of the National Police Maksym Tsutskyrydze, Head of the Department of the National Security of the Security Service of Ukraine Viktor Levchuk, Head of the Communications and Press Department of the Defense Ministry Oleksiy Chornobay, and Head of the Committee of the All-Ukrainian Independent Media Trade Union Ihor Chaika members of the council.

This decree comes into force on the date of its publication.
