President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko notes the effectiveness of the work of the Council on judicial reform.

“What is the assessment of the work of the Council? The first is more than the constitutional majority of votes that supported judicial reform in Ukraine in parliament … The second is a large number of legislative acts that have been developed, despite tremendous political pressure, because, unfortunately, there were very many opponents of our judicial reform,” said Poroshenko at a meeting of the Council on judicial reform in Kyiv on May 7.

He also noted the quality of the draft laws on judicial reform, which were submitted to the Verkhovna Rada.

Poroshenko recalled that the Council on Judicial Reform under the president of Ukraine was established in the fall of 2014.
